Warntapinthi Wellbeing uses a framework developed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander psychologists to guide how we will work with you.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture teaches us that it is important to develop and nurture connections within each life domain and then work towards combining them, improving overall wellbeing.

We can link this knowledge with what we’ve learnt from Western psychology to help understand and deal with things that stop people from rebuilding or making these connections stronger. 

Our aim is to explore the connections you want to heal and grow. Then together we can come up with some ways to build and nurture these connections, weave them together, and dismantle some of the things that get in the way.
